Selling stuff

I've been thinking; I should sell some stuff to get money. I really need to shop for new wardrobe. No reason to shop for new clothes, actually. (Do u really need a reason to shop? Na-uh!) Not that I tak muat my all my clothes but a recent spring clean shows I have old clothes which actually have patches and dots on them. This is due to the fact that I've not been wearing those clothes for almost a year since I only wore pregnancy clothes for almost a year. That really shows how bad I need to shop for new clothes.

Adleen, my colleague, has posted entries in her blog selling her pre-loved stuff. And she's looking forward to sell more and more. She decided to do so after spring cleaning her (house) store. She sold her Aigner watch to Kay and there's a pair of Cyprus Crocs for only RM100 for grabs. (But by the time I finished with this entry, the shoes have probably been sold!)

But what am I got to sell? I have no designer bag or watch or shoes to sell. I only have old clothes and my store is full of my wedding gifts. Oh my! Did I say wedding gifts? Those stuff are still in good condition and never been used.

*Fee foe fumm* I smell money!

Abah

This is Abah, my dad.

He's a great man, a loving husband and a wonderful dad. I always wish that someday I would marry someone who's just like him but I soon realize that no one can ever be the same as him.

To Abah, may your life be as wonderful as you.

Happy Father's Day ~ 21st June 2009.

Friday afternoon

It's hot out there. Damn hot. I have loads of work to do actually but I managed to blog somehow. It's been a few weeks (or monts) since my last blog. Dunno what to blog about also.

Sometimes I find it fascinating when people can blog just about anything. How can they find time to do so?

Hmmm.

Green and Hot

Who says green cannot be hot?

Wait until you try the new Twisties wasabi.

You've gotta try them. It's sinfully flamming hot, just like the real wasabi . Yes, the green paste often 'associated' with sushi and shashimi that would clear all your sinuses away.

Twisties (M) is having "Mega Hot" election. I voted for the wasabi flavour.

What would you vote for?

Delivering Life

Dear son,

You would be happy to know how much daddy and mummy love you. Since we first knew that mummy was pregnant up until the day you were wrapped safely in the hospital's receiving blanket.

I can't never forget the day you were born.

It was on your 38th week in my womb. I went for my regular check up. Daddy was there when the doctor said my blood pressure was a bit higher than usual and I was already 1cm dilated. She then asked me to relax and come again tomorrow to get ready for the big day.

Suddenly I felt a pang of everything - mixture of feelings knocked my head. Am I ready for all these?

Nevermind. I am ready. I am so ready to meet you, child. Mummy can't wait to see you!

On 11th February 2009, I was induced early in the morning. My blood pressure was fine. Everything seemed ok. The doctor said that labour can occur as soon as 2pm the same day.

10am - I started to feel the contractions.

11am - More contractions.

12pm - More and more contractions.

2pm - More and more and more contractions. No sign of labour. 1 1/2cm dilated.

3pm - Still no sign of labour.

4pm - Nothing. Nada.

7.30pm - My water broke while I was praying. It felt funny when a pile of colorless water gushing between your legs. Panic attack. But I was only 2 1/2cm dilated. I was retained in the same room.

8pm, 9pm,10pm - The contractions were very much greater.

2am 12th February 2009 - I can't sleep. The pain was unbearable. I need to get the pain killer.

6am - The contractions were very keen to visit me.

8am - The pain was much greater than before. I was already 5cm dilated. To the labour room is where I was pushed.

10am - I was busy pushing. All the pain in the world resided in my body.

11am - Doctor went in the labour room. She guided me through the whole process. Daddy was being so loyal, he stayed beside me all the time. Patiently waiting.

11.20am - After a final all-strength-in-the-world push, a life was born. YOU were born. I have safely delivered a life. And there you were, looking all purplish and cold. You looked so amazing.

I promise you, my dear child. I'll take care of you as long as I shall live. With my unconditional love, thou shall always be with me.

Welcome to the world, Iqbal Musyrif Bin Omar. Jadilah anak yang soleh.

Love,
Mummy.

2009 and waiting

2009 is here. Leaving 2008 far behind.

I’m in my 33rd week now. Yes. I’m very much pregnant.

The aches, the pain and the anticipation will end soon. I can’t wait to meet my little baby. My husband and I are so excited counting the days, to say, in alert too.

Everyday I pray that Allah will make it easier for me to deliver My Precious into the world. I hope everything will be ok. InsyaAllah.

As for the rest of the year, I’m looking forward for a better living – a family to build. Together, the 3 of us.

"Mommy can't wait to see you, baby..."

Berbicara tentang Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum.

Ramadhan datang kembali.

Sehari sebelum puasa, rakyat Malaysia menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan ke-51.

Walllahualam.
